​Music Generation

The school takes part in the Music Generation Choral Programme. Music Generation is Ireland’s National Music Education Programme, funded by U2 and The Ireland Funds. It aims to help children to access performance music education in their locality.  Nuala Kelly visits the school each week to work with Third to Sixth class.  The school often takes part in concerts to showcase their musical skills which have included singing in the National Concert Hall in which the pupils got to sing with a full orchestra.  The pupils were singing a suite of songs that was written and composed as part of Music Generation.   We are continually building our repertoire of songs and cannot wait to perform at our next concert.
