First Confession
Congratulations to the pupils in Second Class who took part in their First Confession in Killasmeestia Church on Thursday 7th March. The mass was celebrated by Fr. Robinson. The pupils told the story of Zacchaeus while also singing the song Zacchaeus. They knew all their prayers and participated in all parts of the mass. We are very proud of their achievement.
Sports Day 2022
On Friday the 17th of June, we had our end of year sports day. We had lots of fun! Thanks to 5th and 6th class for organising all the activities! We even got delicious ice cream to cool us down!
School Tour 2022- Nore Valley
Sacrament of Reconciliation
2nd class have been very busy over the last few weeks preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. They received the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Thursday, March 31st. Lots of effort was put in by all and this was reflected on the night. Well done to all the boys in second class!!
Green Day- March 2022
Ms. Kennedys 1st and 2nd class really put the effort in to Green Day this year and wore all their greens to show support for St. Patricks day
A Spooky Day in First and Second!
Today we had a very spooky day in first and second class! The children came to school dressed up in their Halloween costumes. A lot of effort was put in by everyone. See if you can recognise us!
A busy new school year
We have been very busy in first and second class this year! We have learned so many new things.
In September, we went on a nature walk around our school yard and found many interesting things.
In October, Mark from skip n rope came to visit us. He taught us how to do tricks with skipping ropes.
In art we drew pictures of foxes and decorated them.
We are very excited this year because Nuala from Music generation is coming to visit our classroom every week. We are having great fun learning new songs.
This week we have been learning about Halloween.
Today we tried bairín breac in our classroom. It was delicious! Have a look at us in our classroom.

School Tour 2019
On Thursday the 13th of June, we went on our school tour. We went to a Let's go! Summer camp in Kilcullen in Co. Kildare. We had a great day! Have a look at us on our school tour!
First Holy Communion
On Saturday the 18th of May, 2019, second class celebrated their First Holy Communion. It was a warm and sunny day. The children did very well and had a lovely day.
On the Thursday before the First Holy Communion, the parents association kindly provided treats for the class. We had a lovely picnic in the field!
Pancake Tuesday
On Tuesday the 5th of March, we were very busy in our classroom. It was pancake Tuesday, so we decided to make them. We had a great time and they were delicious! Have a look at our pancakes!
Sacrament of Reconciliation
On Thursday the 28th of February 2019, second class received the sacrament of reconciliation. The children put a lot of work into the night and they did very well. Well done second class!
Chinese Lanterns
To celebrate Chinese New Year, we made Chinese lanterns. They were fun to make and we think they look good.
