Basketball

The pupils from Third to Sixth classes love playing basketball.  For a number of weeks in Summer 2018 and Spring 2019 the pupils had basketball lessons.  In these lessons the pupils learned and developed the skills involved in playing basketball.  Along with learning the rules of the game,  We purchased a basketball hoop and balls here at the school.  We also have many basketballs.

On Wednesday 23rd May 2018 the pupils from Third and Fourth Class took part in a basketball blitz in Portlaoise.  While on Wednesday 30th May 2018 the pupils from Fifth and Sixth Class took part in a blitz in Portlaoise also.
