Junior Entrepreneur Programme

During the 2017-2018 school year Fifth and Sixth class took part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme.  The Junior Entrepreneur Programme allows pupils to get a clear picture of what creating a business is all about.  The Junior Entrepreneur Programme gives children a greater understanding of many things that happen in the real world. They get to understand how the value of goods and services is created and how skill, talent and creativity can create more than the sum of their parts in an entrepreneurial enterprise. They get a better understanding of what happens in their lives and will have their first opportunity to think in an entrepreneurial fashion.

As part of the programme Fifth and Sixth Class created their own cookbook.  They included many delicious recipes as part of the book.  They typed, published and printed the cookbook which they then went on to sell.  The book proved to be very popular with many copies of the cookbook being sold. As part of the process they also had a Bake Sale.  They created and sold the different items found within the cookbook.

Well done to the Fifth and Sixth Class and to all involved.  They did an amazing job!
